Scottsdale Farms Events

At Scottsdale Farms we believe that you’re never too old to learn something new and we frequently host educational events and seminars. We’re also proud to be a Partner in Education with several local schools. Every spring and fall we offer seminars and events that appeal to all ages, some are for children, others are educational, and other events offer plain old family fun.

Some of our past children’s events have included storytelling, planting seeds, painting on canvas, decorating pumpkins and making gingerbread houses.

Some of our past adult seminars have included visits from Walter Reeves, “The Georgia Gardener,” and Joe Lampl “Growing a Greener World.” Classes have included Growing Shiitake Mushrooms on Logs, Container Gardening, How to Make Pesto, Creating a Greenery Arrangement and pruning.

We have offered a number of family fun events during the spring and fall such as a petting zoo, hay rides, Birds of Prey show, a pumpkin patch, Easter egg hunts and pony rides. Each season our seminars and events change so we encourage you to check back often and see what’s new!
