“Right plant, Right location” is Part 1 in a 3-part beginner gardening series focusing on core principles needed when caring for plants. This complimentary class will focus on choosing the right plant for its proper location, including when and where to plant, the importance of sun and shade, as well as watering and required nutrients. Parent-Child Preschool Pressed Flower Vase Craft

It’s the perfect time of year to celebrate nature’s beauty and its bounty of blooms. Join us on Tuesday, April 9th, at 10 am to craft a pretty pressed flower vase with your preschooler. (Recommended for ages 3 and up) This pressed flower craft is simple, providing sweet accents of color using dried flowers to create a unique and useful floral container.

“How to Properly Plant & Care for Plants” is Part 2 in a 3-part beginner gardening series focusing on core principles needed when caring for plants. This complimentary class will cover soil testing, review planting and watering guidelines and differences in the use of organic vs. synthetic fertilizers.

Preschool Parent-Child Vegetable Garden Workshop

Gardening gives children a chance to learn an important life skill and is a great way to teach environmental awareness by exploring the workings of nature. Join us for a wonderful hands-on workshop where your little one will plant their own garden vegetables. They’ll touch, taste, smell, look and observe how plants grow over time while appreciating their different colors and fantastic smells.

$20 per child.

April 19th – 10:30 am – 11:30 am

Sun Container Planting Workshop

Choosing the plants for a container garden arrangement can sometimes seem daunting. How do you decide which plants will create the multidimensional masterpiece you envision? Join us for a hands-on class where you can design and plant your own container, perfect for any sunny area. We’ll supply the container, fresh soil and a variety of plants to get your garden project growing!

$48 per participant.

April 20th – 10:00 am – 11:00 am

“Prevention of Pests and Disease” is Part 3 in a 3-part beginner gardening series focusing on core principles needed when caring for plants. This complimentary class will discuss keys to plant health and specific factors that can cause unwanted pests and favor the onset of disease.

Hanging Basket Workshop

Join us to design and plant your own hanging sun basket. Learn placement and color coordination, as well as moisture requirements. The basket, soil, flowers, and expertise are included. Take home a beautiful hanging basket for your patio, porch, or any sunny area.

$35 per participant.

Spring Fairy Garden Workshop

Your child’s imagination will soar as they create their very own magical one-of-a-kind Fairy Garden. A touch of inspiration, a cute container, a plant and a few accessories are all it takes to get the magic of a fairy garden growing.
